Hi, I’m Jing — a visual storyteller, global wanderer, and professional photographer based (mostly) everywhere. Adopted from China and raised in the Netherlands, I’ve always felt a connection to many places, yet truly rooted in none. That sense of in-betweenness has shaped my journey and deeply influences how I see the world — and how I photograph it. After earning a bachelor’s degree in pop culture in Leeuwarden, Friesland, I began working in tourism and eventually embraced a nomadic lifestyle in 2021. I’ve lived and worked in Iceland, traveled across countries without a fixed plan, and found beauty in the unexpected — always with my camera in hand. In 2023, I met my biological family for the first time, a powerful moment that reminded me how meaningful real human connection is — something I aim to capture in every photo I take. I’m a self-taught photographer with a passion for people, mountains, and moments. My work is rooted in authenticity and emotion, often focused on travel, culture, and connection.
